Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 6, 2026
1. Who We Are
SelfHelpWorkInjury.com ("we," "our," "us") is operated by Juris Automated. This site provides general educational information about workers' compensation. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you:
- Submit a free case review request
- Use the "Find Help" referral form
- Use the "My Claim" file builder (stored locally on your device)
This may include your name, email address, phone number, city, zip code, state, date of injury, and a description of your situation.
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect standard usage information such as page views, approximate location, browser and device type, and referring URL. We do not send the name, email, phone number, injury description, or claim-file contents you enter to Google Analytics.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To review whether an attorney, occupational medicine doctor, or vocational rehab specialist may be available for your request
- To respond to your inquiries
- To improve our site and tools
- To send relevant follow-up communications (you may opt out at any time)
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Sharing of Information
When you explicitly submit a referral or case review request, we may share it with legal or medical professionals who may be able to assist. A submission does not create an attorney-client, doctor-patient, or other professional relationship.
We may share information with service providers who help us operate this site (email platforms, CRM tools, analytics providers), subject to confidentiality agreements.
5. My Claim File Builder
The claim file builder stores your data exclusively in your browser's localStorage. We do not receive or store this data unless you explicitly submit it via the "Send to Attorney" feature. Clearing your browser data will remove your saved claim file.
6. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and similar technologies to understand site usage and improve the tools. Google may set or read analytics cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so may affect measurement but should not prevent access to the educational content.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@selfhelpworkinjury.com.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date.
